2008 Strategic Planning

March 3, 2008

Dear Members and Friends,

In October 2007, we announced a year-long process to develop the Vision and Strategic Plan for Old St. Patrick’s Church called “Year of Discovery.” Since then, we have listened to the many voices that make up our diverse church community by hosting two well-attended Discovery Sessions held on Saturday, Nov. 17 and Thursday, Jan. 10. Our voyage of dialogue and sharing culminates with a two-day Leadership Summit scheduled on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 that brings leaders from the various programs or ministries together to review all the important data compiled during the Discovery Sessions and identify initiatives that will carry us into a bold new future.

For those who have not been able to attend either of the Discovery Sessions and are not in a leadership position to attend the upcoming Leadership Summits, know that we still want to hear from you. Please click on the fly-out menu called Voice Your Opinions, and we will add your comments and concerns regarding the future direction of Old St. Patrick’s Church. Also, please feel free to review both summaries and transcripts from both Discovery Sessions and review the agenda for the upcoming Leadership Summits.

Please understand that the success of our “Year of Discovery” planning process comes down to how well we listen to the voices of the many people who make Old St. Patrick’s Church such a vibrant place. Please commit to making your voice heard.

Many thanks,

Rev. Thomas J. Hurley
