Gay+ is a celebration of our individual journeys in faith as LGBTQ+ Catholics. Inspired by the radical hospitality here at Old St. Pat’s, we are an inclusive community, welcoming to all sexual orientations, gender identities, and allies! We get together in a casual setting on the first Thursday of each month (something we call, That Thursday Thing) to explore and discuss the unique ways we experience spirituality in our lives. We invite you to be among friends at our upcoming gathering:
Trevor: a short film
Thursday, October 5, 2017
(711. W. Monroe – 2nd Floor – Room 25BC)
Break out the popcorn, we’re watching a movie! Join us as we screen the short film Trevor – a coming-of-age story of a boy faced with coming out in a world that isn’t ready. Through awkward conversations, unlikely friends, and the music of Diana Ross – Trevor begins his journey, one step at a time. With National Coming Out Day approaching this month (Oct. 11), come and celebrate your ‘outness,’ either as an LGBT Catholic or ally!
