The Bank of America Chicago Marathon at Old St. Pat’s Church

On Sunday, October 9, 2010, The Bank of America Chicago Marathon passes through 29 neighborhoods bringing a unique character to the Chicago Marathon experience. Where do you plan to the watch the marathon?  Why not consider joining the volunteers from Old St. Patrick’s Church at our Cheering Station as we cheer the runners?

Bank of America Chicago Marathon T-shirts will be distributed to the first 100 people who show up on the morning of the marathon.  Music and incredible Old St. Pat’s energy will be on display in support of the runners.

For your convenience, we recommend you use the Monroe Street parking lots.

The schedule is as follows:

Sunday, October 9
7:30 a.m.  Cheering Station

Join the Old St. Pat’s Cheering Station as we encourage and cheer the runners passing the half-way point during The Bank of America Chicago Marathon.

Sunday, October 9
5 p.m. “Bless Your Blisters” Mass

All marathoners along with friends and family are invited to attend as we offer a blessing for the speedy recovery of the aches and pains endured by the runners.  Following Mass, marathoners are encouraged to wear their finisher’s medal for a reception in the Church Hall.
