Finding Grace and Mercy in the Divorce Experience
a spiritual retreat of reflection and contemplation
In an atmosphere of care and belonging, this program will offer the opportunity to contemplate our experience of divorce through a spiritual lens and to consider our innermost encounter with God on this unique journey.
Who should attend: open to anyone who is separated, in the process of divorce, or divorced – no matter age, gender, number of years married, or how long divorced. The open, inclusive spirit invites those of all faiths and beliefs.
Mary Kelly, a Spiritual Director at Old St Pat’s, directs many retreats, with a particular focus on personal and professional life transition. Having personally experienced the unique transition of divorce, Mary will invite us to consider an encounter with its spiritual call to the expansion of our hearts and souls. Mary is a leader of the OSP Beloved Retreat, and is a Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences at National Louis University.
