Join us as we hear from North Lawndale College Prep about their work to use restorative practices with students and create a culture of peace within their high school. On the third Thursday of each month, Old St. Pat’s offers the Sacrament of Anointing as part of the 12:10 p.m. Mass. All are welcome, especially those who are sick or suffering in any way, mind, body, or spirit. There will be music at the Mass and the presider will be available in church to anoint any and all in need. Season for Social Justice This Sunday will be a special day focused on praying for peace and understanding the Catholic theology that we are rooted in to be agents of peace and nonviolence in the world. We welcome you to any of our Sunday liturgies to experience this celebration! We will stand in solidarity with our larger Old St. Pat’s community and all those across the world working in peaceful and powerful movements for healing and justice.

For children age three through 2nd Grade. At the 9:30 Liturgy children should gather in the back of the church and they will be escorted to behind the altar where they will learn about the readings of the day in language and with activities they will easily understand. The children will rejoin their families after the homily and share in the rest of the mass. No registration is necessary.
