CARA Program
The Cara Program
The Cara Program assists motivated individuals affected by homelessness and poverty to transform their lives and achieve real, lasting success. Through an innovative spectrum of service including life-skills training, industry certifications, career development services, job placement and intensive support, The Cara Program has helped over 1,900 individuals to secure and sustain quality, permanent employment with benefits. It is through the commitment and compassion of hundreds of volunteers, donors and Chicago-area companies that The Cara Program has truly made a difference since its founding in 1991.
