Greater Chicago Food Depository

The Chicago Food Depository is a wholesale food distributor from which the majority of shelters and food pantries purchase their supplies. Food items are sorted into easily transportable bags and boxes. Old St. Pat's sponsors the second Saturday of each month. Each volunteer hour is exchanged for food to support all of our meal programs at shelters like Marah's House, House of Mary and Joseph Selter, and Su Casa. The GCFD is located at 4100 W. Ann Lurie Place on the near southwest side and runs from 9 a.m.- Noon.
