Su Casa

At this transitional residence for homeless Hispanic families at 5045 South Laflin, volunteers assist families to assimilate into American society. Volunteers are needed to prepare and host a neighborhood lunch the second Saturday of odd numbered months. Volunteers meet at Old St. Pat's at 10:15 a.m. at the Mission Center, 711 W. Monroe Building in the reception area on the 1st floor and carpool down as a group. They return to Old St. Pat's at 2 p.m.

In Search of Items for Su Casa

Su Casa, the homeless shelter for displaced Hispanic families, is in need of the following items:
• 7 eight-foot long folding tables;
• 48 folding chairs.

The Old St. Pat’s/Su Casa team feeds more than 100 hungry souls. They would really appreciate receiving the above “gently used “ items.
