Join us on Wednesday, May 7th or Thursday, May 8th to learn more and discuss with others as the cardinal-electors discern the next leader of our Church.

​We will begin both events with a short talk about the conclave process from Fr. Pat McGrath, S.J., and other speakers. Then experience Synodal "Conversation in the Spirit," a prayerful and reflective way of listening to one another's experiences of the church, world, and hopes for the next pope. To prepare, consider reading "Conversation in the Spirit" created for the recent Synod on Synodality HERE.

Hughes Hall, Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 6 - 7:30 PM

Join Fr. Pat McGrath in Conversation! A light supper will be provided. In person attendees are invited to end their evening at the Encounter Youth Adult Ministry-hosted Eucharistic Adoration and Contemplative Music in the church until 8 PM. Free parking at 625 W. Adams garage begins at 6 PM. Please pull a ticket from the Old St. Pat's box.

Zoom, Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 1 - 2 PM

Fr. Pat McGrath, S.J., and Dr. Annie Selak, Ph.D., theologian and Director of the Women's Center at Georgetown University, will join our opening conversation. Dr. Selak is an expert in feminist theology of the Church and has published on the theology and ministry of Pope Francis.
