Marah’s House

As part of the Deborah’s Place network of homes, the mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for women in Chicago, MAarah’S House and Rebecca Johnson Apartments provide stable housing, support services, and opportunities for change.  For 19 years, volunteers from Old St. Patrick’s have been serving dinner at Marah’s house on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. They prepare the meal, serve it buffet or family style, and eat and visit with the residents. This year, volunteers also will reach out to the Rebecca Johnson apartment community to serve the residents.
