With an eye toward the future, and embracing the longstanding tradition of the Church being in service to the people of God, we are proud to introduce the Old St. Patʹs Board of Advisors. This Board has been formed by a group of Old St. Patʹs members coming forward to serve. As the Board and committees of the Board continues to grow, Old St. Patʹs members will be invited to serve.
Dave joined Old St. Patrick’s Church in 2009 after witnessing the consistent belief throughout OSP — from the Pastor to the pews — that our Catholic faith pushes us to do good works and to be contributing members of our larger communities, whether in Chicago, the U.S., or the world. Since then, Dave has served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, Crossroads Runner, and member of the OSP Next leadership team.Originally from Kankakee, Illinois, Dave now lives in Logan Square. After working as an associate at the law firm of Sidley Austin LLP, Dave joined the City of Chicago Law Department where he specializes in constitutional and commercial litigation. He is also the author of the forthcoming book “Pembroke: A Rural, Black Community on the Illinois Dunes,” which chronicles the history of an impoverished but resilient community sixty miles south of Chicago.

Steve and Eve have been active volunteers in many initiatives, including the Planned Giving Committee, Special Friends Masses, Men’s Spirituality Group, and The Journey Forward Capital Campaign, as well as the Board. Originally from Providence, Rhode Island, Steve moved to Chicago in 1999 after graduating from law school in Ohio. Steve is currently Senior Vice President and Tax Counsel for Northern Trust.
A member of Old St. Patrickʹs staff for the last seven years, Keara is the Director of Faith Formation. She is inspired by the environment of empowerment at Old St. Patʹs — a place she calls her second home. ʺThe sense that the ‘work’ of church belongs to all of us, as we the baptized are given the responsibility and the honor of working to bring about the kingdom of God — right here and right now.ʺ In the beginning, Keara’s ministry was focused on young adults and adult sacramental formation, but more recently, Keara has enjoyed the opportunity to connect with our spiritual and mission outreach; kinship; marriage, and liturgical
ministries. Originally from the South Side of Chicago, Keara, her husband, Michael, and their son, Daniel, recently moved back to the neighborhood.
An active participant in the Old St. Patrick’s community for 10 years, Kevin, his wife, Molly, and their five children live in River Forest. In addition to being a member of the Board, Kevin also serves as the Chair of the Finance committee. Kevin feels that Old St. Pat’s is a welcoming community and place to celebrate and share his faith. He believes his participation with the Board of Advisors will help spread the Old St. Patʹs mission within our community, as well as outside of the community through our many programs at the Crossroad Center. Kevin is First Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor with Merrill Lynch, the Sullivan Hanley Group in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Since 2004, Old St. Patrickʹs Church has been more than a place of worship for Arnette and his family — it has been their spiritual home; where his wife, Tricia, committed to the Catholic faith through RCIA; where he renewed his faith; the Church where their children, Harper, Annabella and Gabriella, were baptized and attended school; and most importantly, the place they found their Lord and his calling for them to become involved. They became leaders in RCIA; participants in the Liturgical Process review; the Mission Forum; the Children at the Crossroads Scholarship Foundation; the Pentecost Liturgy team; Beloved; Liturgy Work Group; Social Concerns; Marriage Ministry; Siamsa na nGael; Deck The Hall; Emerald Ball;
The Journey Forward Capital Campaign; and a member of the Board of Advisors since 2010. Following his retirement from the United States Secret Service in 2003, Arnette cofounded Hillard Heintze, where he serves as the Chief Executive Officer.

Greg participates in many of the Old St. Patʹs ministries and events, including: Foundations, Hospitality Ministry; Volunteer Fair; Giving Tree; and World’s Largest Block Party. He is founder and CEO of Hunt & Associates, LLC, a boutique executive recruiting firm that specializes in conducting retained and contingency searches for experienced sales and management professionals in the financial services industry. A member of Old St. Patʹs staff for more than 24 years, Bob has been inspired by the Old St. Patrick’s commitment to be mission‐centered. “I’m proud that we can say we are not so much a church with a mission, but a mission with a church . . . and a social concerns center . . . and an educational center. And what’s this mission that calls us together? Put simply, to cooperate with the spirit to help build up the Kingdom of God.” Bob feels it is a privilege to serve the Old St. Pat’s mission in several different capacities, mostly centered on adult spirituality. Bob, his wife, Anne, and daughter, Maya, are lifelong Chicago area residents.
A lifelong residence of Chicago, Tim is Old St. Patʹs Director of Advancement and has been part of the community for more than six years. Two of Tim’s passions are music and food, which makes the Old St. Patʹs community a natural environment for Tim, as he loves meeting new members and believes our collective voices help guide our mission. Actively involved in all of Old St. Patʹs special events, Tim is inspired by our community’s willingness to lend a hand to those in need.
For the last 12 years, Rose Loftus has found the Old St. Patrick’s community to be the creative stimulus to challenge and engage her spirituality. Rose, and her husband Liam Healy, are committed to advancing the mission of Old St. Patrick’s and support many of our initiatives including the Family Advisory Board; LIFT; the Beloved Community; The Frances Xavier Warde School (FXW); Emerald Ball; and Siamsa na nGael; and the Journey Forward Capital Campaign. Rose and Liam have five children and four are currently attending FXW. In her spare time, Rose practices law with her sister at Loftus & Loftus, Ltd.
For more than 15 years, Eileen has been inspired by the Old St. Patʹs community’s emphasis on developing spirituality, engaging one another in community and reaching out to the world around us with “radical hospitality.” Eileen accepted the invitation to join the Board as she strongly believes that those in the “pews” should have a voice in our journey. A recent member of the Board of Advisors, Eileen, and her partner, Marybeth, are active in a wide variety of Old St. Patʹs initiatives, including Beloved; LIFT; Women’s Spiritually; LGBT Outreach; Ignation Spirituality Group; Encore; Career Transitions Center, and all of our community’s special events.
