You Are Not Alone: Divorce Support Group

Sometimes, no matter how much effort is expended, a marriage can’t be saved. In that sad event, Old St. Pat’s stands ready to support you to heal and recover, through our Divorce Support Group; You Are Not Alone (YANA).
This is a networking group for men and women who are separated or divorced. “You Are Not Alone” is a chance to talk with other men and women who are separated or divorced. This group meets to discuss topics of importance to those seeking to heal during and after one of life’s most difficult transitions. Peer facilitated by those who have been there and simply wish to listen and offer encouragement. Participation is free. Additional social events are planned throughout the year.

Divorce Recovery Group
Old St. Pat's 6 session Divorce Recovery Group is open for registration and begins Tuesday, February 21st. 6 pm to 7:30 pm. We meet at 711 W. Monroe Room 25A with Zoom as an option. The divorce process often brings about unexpected and unimaginable heartache, questions, and challenges.
Divorce Recovery was created to bring hope and healing to those who have experienced the pain and loneliness of a broken marriage. Sessions include education, discussion, and prayer. Each meeting focuses on a different aspect of the divorce healing process such as grief, stress, anger, blame, guilt, loneliness, family issues, forgiveness, and happiness.
Our mission is to help get you started and keep you going on the path to rebuilding and renewal by providing information, resources, and encouragement. It will help answer questions, restore hope, and begin authentic healing. More importantly, process groups offer a safe place where people can come together for mutual support.
It is for those recently divorced, as well as those still struggling with issues many years later. All ages, faiths, and genders are welcome and you
do not need to be a member of Old St. Pat’s to participate. The support group is facilitated by a licensed therapist.
