Sunday Giving
“Today, we face our own seemingly insurmountable challenges: this devastating pandemic that continues to cause so much suffering, is keeping us physically apart, and that has exposed the pervasive racial, social and economic injustices in our city and country. Yet we see the hope of God’s Kingdom here at Old St. Pat’s…never has the goodness and generosity of the people of Old St. Pat’s been more apparent” – Fr. Tom Hurley
Sunday Giving supports all that we do here at Old St. Pat’s and is vital to our ability to continue to provide livestream masses on Sunday along with limited, safe in-person seating. Sunday Giving funds our online spirituality programs, racial justice initiatives, North Lawndale Kinship Initiative, all of our growing programs for young adults, our immigrant and refugee families, Encore meetings, Beloved circles, spiritual direction, pastoral and ministry of care, RCIA, online chapels, expanding podcasts, outreach to partner organizations, counseling services and all of the other day-to-day programs and initiatives.
We hope you will support Old St. Pat’s as generously as you are able so that, together, we may lead a movement of change within the Catholic church so that all are truly included, so that we can praise God on Sundays with exquisite liturgy, and so that we may be transformed in kinship with others.

“I was touched by the inclusive, rich spirit of your community. I so appreciate all your efforts on so many fronts to create the
Kingdom of God in our midst.” – Cary, IL
“I have been concerned for my family who work in the medical field and friends touched by COVID-19. Then I attend mass, read the bulletin or use the online resources and I’m reminded God is with us. Calm and peace take over my concerns.” – Lombard, IL
“Please know that your livestream mass on Sunday mornings is the highlight of our Sunday. The music, the homily, even the prayers of the faithful are so meaningful to us that we feel like we are part of your community, despite the fact that we live more than 350 miles away, in Michigan. Please continue the work you do serving the people of God in your parish community and those of us around the world.” – Port Sanilac, MI
“We love the service, the music, the warmth, and the humor.” – Palo Alto, CA
“I have been so moved, inspired and comforted by your mass. Because of this weekly support I have been able to cope with this quarantine with my husband who suffers from Alzheimer’s.” – Marietta, Ga
