Giving to Old St. Pat's

Giving to Old St. Pat's

As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
(1 Peter 4:10)

Your generous support of Sunday Giving truly sustains us!

Your gifts help us nurture our faith and build our Catholic community in so many, many ways:
• through safe, in-person Sunday masses at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and our livestream Sunday 10 a.m. mass watched throughout the country (even world!);
• through our social justice and outreach initiatives, including the North Lawndale Kinship Initiative, the Immigrant and Refugee Rights Committee, and so many others;
• through our spiritual direction and education ministries including Foundations, Family Ministry, Beloved, Encounter, the Crossroads lecture series, our podcasts, our recent new member engagement night on Zoom;
• through sacramental preparation and celebration, including RCIA, pre-Cana, baptisms and weddings;
• and through our pastoral care and ministry of care, serving so many grieving the death of a loved one, or illness and isolation during these challenging times.

We rely on twenty percent of our Sunday Giving from the Sunday collection basket. Since we aren’t able to pass the physical basket, we ask you to continue to support us by setting up an electronic recurring gift or by making a one-time gift by clicking here, via the Livestream donate button, by texting OldStPats to 77977, or by mailing a check to Old St. Pat’s, Attn: Development, 711 W. Monroe St., Chicago, IL 60661. Thank you!

God is generous with us, and we are called to be generous in return. Without the gifts of time, talent and treasure shared so generously by our Old St. Pat’s members, we simply would not be the vibrant, welcoming, radically inclusive, and justice-minded Catholic church community we are proud to be. By sharing our gifts with one another, we will ensure we thrive for generations to come.

Old St. Pat’s offers many opportunities to support our mission, including by supporting our Sunday Giving Commitment, by making a gift to a specific ministry or initiative, and by contributing to preserve our beautiful campus. We also offer many ways to make a gift.

Gifts of Appreciated Stock
We understand that cash may not always be the best way to give, so there are other options for supporting the Old St. Pat’s mission. Giving through appreciated stock is a simple two-step process and only takes a few minutes.
  1. Please notify the development office of your intent to transfer stock, including the name of the security and number of shares, by calling or emailing Molly Galo (mollyg@oldstpats.org / 312.831.9355).
  2. To facilitate the transfer, please use the following information:
