Capital Giving
The Crossroads Circle was created in the 1990s as a way for our community to directly support the capital needs of the Old St. Pat’s campus. Because of this generosity, our Sunday Giving can stay focused on what it’s meant for sustaining our ministries and daily operations.
The impact of the Crossroads Circle is truly remarkable. Last year alone, members contributed more than $250,000, allowing us to address urgent capital needs, refresh Hughes Hall, and begin planning for future restoration projects. Prior projects including but not limited to: lighting improvements in the church, new carpeting for the stairs to the balcony, security cameras on campus, landscaping by the rectory and Mary Statue in Hurley Courtyard, HVAC system improvements and emergency repairs to the heating and air conditioning systems in the Church.
Through the Crossroads Circle, we’re caring for much more than a building; we're preserving a legacy. Old St. Patrick’s is the first Catholic church built west of the Chicago River, the oldest church building in Chicago, and one of the country’s finest examples of Celtic art, standing proudly at the crossroads of Adams and Desplaines.
As a thank-you, each household that makes an annual contribution of $1,000 or more to the Crossroads Circle receives:
