Giving to Old St. Pat's

Capital Giving

Picture
We invite you to join the Crossroads Circle, an esteemed group of donors who want to keep our beautiful campus in good working order so we can welcome members, guests and future generations into our Catholic faith. Gifts to the Crossroads Circle are used to sustain and protect the substantial capital investments that have already been made, and to ensure that the fully restored Old St. Pat’s campus is operated efficiently and is consistently maintained.

Crossroads Circle members contribute a minimum of $1,000 annually, beyond their Sunday Giving commitment. Your membership year begins on the date of your first gift, and we’ll invite you to renew your membership as your year comes to a close.

To thank you for your generous support of the Crossroads Circle, we offer our members a variety of benefits, including:
  • Intimate Mass and Reception with Pastor annually
  • Acknowledgment as a member in the Crossroads Sunday Bulletin
  • Annual newsletter with updates on programs, services and capital improvements
  • Complimentary attendance at a special events of your choosing:
    • Deck the Hall (2 tickets to Thursday performance and reception)
    • Shamrock’n the Block
Please contact Polly Mulhearn in the Advancement Office if you have questions regarding membership: (312) 798-2316 or pollym@oldstpats.org.

To become a member, or to renew your Crossroads Circle membership, please fill out the membership form

Preservation Trust

Picture
On Christmas night in 1856, our forebears dedicated this beautiful Church. The Celtic artistry that adorns the walls, ceiling, floor and pews are just some of the features that make it one of Chicago’s most cherished sanctuaries.

We must preserve this wondrous gift. When the church was restored in 1996, members and friends invested $9.2 million in the structural integrity and beauty of the church. As a result, we are all able to enjoy the vibrancy of the Book of Kells-inspired artwork in a building that is over 160 years old.

To further protect this cherished and historic landmark, we have established the Old St. Patrick’s Church Preservation Trust. Gifts to the Trust help ensure resources are available for repairs and improvements—and that this holy place will allow future generations the opportunity to encounter the mysteries of God through our worship and liturgies.

You may make an online gift to the Preservation Trust using this link. Be sure to select Preservation Fund from the drop-down designation menu.

The Journey Forward

Picture
The Journey Forward Campaign began in 2014 with a bold vision of impacting people through meaningful outreach, impacting our mission by transforming the Rectory into a ministry center, and impacting the future by performing immediate campus enhancements and building an endowment fund to preserve and enhance Old St. Patrick’s Church for generations to come. With the support of hundreds of donors, we purchased a home in North Lawndale – now known as Phoenix Hall – to provide transitional housing to teens experiencing homelessness.

We renovated and transformed the Rectory into a Ministry Center, and we’ve earmarked funds for an endowment. Thank you to all who supported this important campaign! To make a pledge payment, please use this link and select The Journey Forward Pledge Payments from the drop-down menu.
