PreCana (Marriage Preparation) Couples getting married in the Catholic tradition must attend PreCana. This pre-marriage educational seminar is conducted by Old St. Pat’s staff and married couples, and takes place on three consecutive Sunday afternoons from 2 to 4:45 p.m at the Fr. Jack Wall Mission Center, 711 W. Monroe, Chicago. The fee is $275.
We are delighted that you have chosen to celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage at Old St. Pat’s. We invite all couples who will be married to PreCana. Planning Music for your Wedding
The process for beginning to plan music for your wedding begins at our Wedding Music Site: oldstpats.org/wedding-music. You will find the resources, guidelines, and overall process here to begin, including repertoire samples, and forms to request your music and musicians.
Wedding Music Fairs are typically held on the first Monday night of February, June, and October from 7–9 p.m. at Old St. Patrick’s Church. Please note: during the pandemic, all content is available virtually on the website as we are not hosting wedding fairs currently. It is necessary to start with the overview video from our Director of Music, Mark Scozzafave, and proceed through the process from there. We are delighted to help you in this exciting time to bring a piece of OSP music to your wedding celebration!
