Children’s Liturgy of the Word

A special part of the family Sunday experience at Old St. Patrick’s Church for children ages three through second grade is “Children’s Liturgy of the Word” (CLOW) ministry. We will be in person and Parent Volunteers will work with the children during the 9am mass on select dates for children to learn about the readings of the day in language and activities they’ll easily understand.
Children will remain in the pews with their families until they are called up to the altar by the priest. They will then receive a blessing from the presider/congregation and then go into the rectory. They will return after the homily to sit with their families for the remainder of the mass.
The dates of 2023-24 will be announced in late summer.
Please reach out to Eileen O'Connor at eoconnor80@gmail.com with any questions. All are welcome!
