Children’s Liturgy of the Word
A special part of the family Sunday experience at Old St. Patrick’s Church for children ages Kindergarten through second grade is “Children’s Liturgy of the Word” (CLOW) ministry. Children's Liturgy of the Word is for children, 3 years old through 2nd grade. On the dates below, children should sit with their families until they are invited to the altar by the priest. They will then go into the rectory with adult leaders to learn about the readings of the day in a child-friendly manner. We engage in activities to support the children’s understanding of the gospel message.
2026 - 2027 Dates
CLOW will resume in September at the 9:00 AM Masses on the first, second and third Sundays of the month.
We ask that parents stay in the church during our sessions. If you're interested in being a volunteer, please let us know, and we will work you into the rotation. Note that in compliance with Archdiocese regulations, all volunteers need to be virtus trained if accompanying Children's Liturgy of the Word.
If your child requires special consideration please contact us and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
