Encounter
OSP 20s 30s 40s

Picture
Rooted in Old St. Pats mission and vision, Encounter, formerly OSP Next, is an inclusive community for singles and couples in their 20s, 30s, and 40s! Meet fellow OSP members as we foster connection, grow in faith, deepen relationships, engage in social justice initiatives, and discover new roles in family, work, society and the Catholic Church.

Encounter weaves together spirituality, social justice, education, and social events to create one vibrant fabric of community. Details for our ongoing events are listed below.

A team of active Encounter committee members along with the Director of YA Ministries and Neighborhood Engagement coordinate all activities for this ministry. Along with planning events at the parish, we make it a priority to invite and welcome folks into the community to participate in rich experiences. This ministry also seeks to increase involvement and elevate voices of younger adult OSP members to integrate ideas for growth into the larger parish community.

Date: 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month |
Location: Old St. Pats, 711 W. Monroe Building, 3rd floor Library
Who: All women and women-identified folks |
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm

The Encounter Women’s Spirituality Group is a budding community of women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s, who will be invited to gather in community together on the first and third Tuesday of every month. Together, we will pray, share faith and build fellowship and community. In collaboration, we will select books, podcasts, articles, poems, etc. designed to explore and deepen our spirituality. Our focus is on sharing our spirituality (the new, the hard, the comfortable, the uncomfortable, and everything in between) rather than engaging in a book club, scripture study, or Religious Education. You do not need to be a member of Old St. Pats. All women are welcome.
