Engage with us this Advent and Christmas Season
Create and Send your Christmas Ornament to Old St. Pat’s!
We are not “US” without all of YOU!
Most years, Old St. Pat’s is honored to host over 5,000 members, friends, and neighbors on our campus to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas Day liturgies. In order to keep one another safe this year, most of us will be celebrating Christmas Mass in our “domestic churches” rather than the beautifully decorated church, our beloved Hughes Hall, or our 625 W. Adams space.
Leading up to our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Livestream liturgies, we would like to invite any and all members and friends to create or purchase a Christmas ornament that speaks to what faith and church community means to you. We then welcome you to drop off or send those ornaments to Old St. Pat’s so that we might place them on the Christmas Trees in the sanctuary and have a part of you right there when we sing out our Christmas Alleluias together. You can send ornaments to us using the address below or drop them off at our 711 W Monroe building between 8 am and 3 pm Monday - Friday.

Sharing Your Advent and Christmas Season Moments
Theologian and friend of Old St. Pat’s, Jack Shea, reminds us that especially this year, “intentionality is key” when it comes to preparing ourselves to celebrate Christmas. Whether it is decorating a Christmas tree, lighting Advent candles, setting up a simple creche scene in your home, or making Christmas cookies - if we do these things with intentionality, our spirits can find peace and even healing.
Share with your Old St. Pat’s family how YOU are preparing and celebrating this season with holy (and fun) intentionality! Email your photos or videos to [email protected] or post them on social media using #weareOSP. As they come in, we would love to feature them in our Livestream liturgies or social media platforms.
