Come Cheer on the Chicago Marathon Runners!

Join Our Cheer Station!
Old St. Pat's is also approximately the halfway point for the Marathon and we are one of the official cheer stations! This year the race will head past Monroe & Desplaines. Wear your green and come help us cheer on all the amazing Chicago Marathon runners.
Our cheer squad will be joined by OSP's own DJ Andre and a Beatles Ensemble from Old Town School of Folk Music headed up by OSP member Colleen Laughlin. Come join us to be part of this exciting day!
Blessing of the Runners at 5 PM Mass
26.2 miles is an incredible accomplishment! Help us to celebrate your hard-work and training by taking part in a special blessing after the Chicago Marathon. Join Fr. Pat McGrath for the 5 PM Mass where there will be a special blessing of all the Chicago Marathon Runners.
Directions/Parking For Mass Attendees on Marathon Day
For all those attending Mass that day, if possible, please take public transportation. If you need to drive, please plan to park in the 625 W. Adam parking garage. See course map for the best way for you to get to OSP that day. We suggest taking 90/94 and getting off at Roosevelt. Take Roosevelt and go south to Jefferson. Take Jefferson to Adams Street and then turn left on Desplaines Street. The entrance to the parking garage will be on the left hand side.
